Emma's Puppy Blog-Ode To Bob Barker
Today was a big day for little Ruby. She just turned six months old which means she was finally ready to be spayed! After our usual morning walk, I dropped her off at the vet’s office before heading to work. I think she knew something was up when we pulled into the parking lot as I could tell she was getting a little nervous. Although she was scared, I knew I was leaving her in good hands. Everyone at our vet’s office is so gentle and they truly care for their patients as if they are their own.
Thankfully, a few short hours later I received a call at work from the doctor, who informed me that the procedure went perfectly and that Ruby was resting comfortably. In fact, she has been asleep ever since I went to pick her up! I must admit it is nice to have a little peace and quiet around the house tonight as she recovers! But I’m sure she’ll be back to her old rascally self in no time.
