Mediterranean Wheat Treat

Ingredients: 
1 package dry yeast
1 C. bulgar wheat/cracked wheat
1 C. wheat flour
1 C. rice flour
1 tsp. minced garlic
1/2 C. dry milk
1/2 C. grated parmesean
2 T. parsley
2 C. Chicken or beef broth/stock
2 T. Olive oil
1 t. oregano
1/2 C. warm water
Glaze:
1 Egg
1 T. Milk
Instructions: 
Preheat the oven to 325. In a large mixing bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water. Next, add the broth, oil, cheese, dry milk, and herbs. Slowly blend in the flours and the wheat. Add enough wheat flour to the mixture to form a stiff dough. On a floured surface knead the dough until it is smooth. Shape the dough into a ball and roll until it is 1/2 in. thick. Cut out treats. Place treats on an ungreased baking sheet about 1/4 in. apart. Bake for 45 min. Remove from oven. Glaze: In a small bowl, whisk together the egg and milk. Brush the biscuits with the glaze. Then turn and brush other side. Bake at 325 for another 30 minutes.
